The Jeanne Clery Act is a landmark federal law, originally known as the Campus Security Act, which requires colleges and universities across the United States to disclose information about crime on their campus. As part of this act, we are required to devise and test the emergency response and notification system on the NMSU main campus. We are also required to conduct a fire drill at each of our campus student housing facilities. Each year we publish an annual Fire Safety report to support the data collected. We have reports for the following years: 2015, (titled as 2014 Annual Fire Safety Report) 2016 and 2017.
As part of the Jeanne Clery Act, we also publish an Annual Fire Report; this report gives an in-depth snapshot of our goals, accomplishments and response statistics. We have reports for 2015, 2016 and 2017.
