Although 9-1-1 calls, such as fires and medical emergencies, are the main reason the NMSU Fire Department exists, we like to take advantage of our slow run days and other downtimes by interacting with the NMSU community under less than stressful conditions.

We are also proud to offer a variety of public education opportunities to the community such as our CPR classes and Fire Extinguisher training.
